As a joint project of the Baku City Executive Power and the Ministry of Culture, a presentation ceremony for an exposition dedicated to the Patriotic War and the newly created Victory Hall was held at the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.

Academician Naila Valikhanli, Director of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, opened the ceremony attended by prominent national figures in science and culture, representatives of education and the public, martyrs' families, and war veterans. She welcomed the participants and provided information about the new exposition and Victory Hall created at the museum.

Speaking at the event, Head of the Baku City Executive Power Eldar Azizov stated that six years ago we experienced 44 days of anxiety and concern, resulting in a glorious Victory. For the first time in the last 200 years, our people succeeded in reclaiming their occupied lands. Over these years, the enemy remained the same enemy, and the people remained the same people. However, at the foundation of our Glorious Victory won this time lies the factor of President Ilham Aliyev's personality, his brilliant intellect, and policy.

In his speech at the ceremony, Minister of Culture Adil Karimli noted: "The historic Victory won by the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev is a triumph of our people's will, unity,and love for the Motherland. Today, we remember the dear memory of our martyrs with deep respect and express our gratitude to our veterans and all our heroes."

It was noted at the event that along with historical materials, modern technological and interactive solutions are also presented in the exposition. A simulation game for young visitors, modern information displays, as well as an immersive hall reflecting the large-scale restoration and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories and the Great Return process have been created here.

The main content of the exposition is to demonstrate that Azerbaijan's historic Victory, the restoration of its territorial integrity, and the post-war construction process were realized thanks to the decisive political will, visionary leadership,and strategy implemented by the President, Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Through modern technologies,these historical processes are presented to visitors in a more visual and interactive manner.

Chairman of the Board of the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan Elbay Gasimzade, martyr's mother Malayka Majidova,and Patriotic War veteran Famil Malikov spoke about the historical significance of the war, as well as the unity and solidarity of our people. It was noted that as a result of the heroism of the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, our lands were liberated from occupation. Currently, large-scale restoration and construction work is being carried out in those territories, and the return of former internally displaced persons to their native lands continues rapidly.

At the end of the event, English and Russian editions of the book "History of the Patriotic War. Restoration of Azerbaijan's Territorial Integrity – The Factor of Personality," a joint project of the Baku City Executive Power and the Institute of History dedicated to important historical events in the post-Patriotic War period, were presented.
