Rwanda’s Minister of Youth and Arts Visited the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan

Dr. Jean Nepo Abdallah Utumatwishima, Minister of Youth and Arts of the Republic of Rwanda, and Alexis Humure, First Secretary, visited the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan during their stay in Baku to attend the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.

During the visit, the delegation toured the museum’s historical exhibition. The guests learned about exhibits representing different periods of Azerbaijan’s history, its traditions of statehood, and its cultural heritage. Rare artifacts from various historical periods attracted particular interest.

The delegation also visited the Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev Memorial Museum, where they explored the architectural features and interior decoration of the palace. The guests were introduced to the entrepreneurial and philanthropic activities of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, with particular emphasis on his contributions to the development of education in Azerbaijan.

The tour was conducted by Aykhanim Khalilova, a guide from the Department of Popularization of Azerbaijani History and Organization of Excursions at the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.
