Chairman of Board of Young scientists and Specialists of the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, Head of Ethnographic Fund, PhD in History Sevinc Nasirova delivered a speech at a workshop “Our National Heroes” organized by Student Youth Organization and Faculty of Preschool Education of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
The workshop was held online. S. Nasirova gave thorough information on the Fund of Patriotic War newly established in the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, and its importance. Speaking of our National Heroes, martyrs and veterans, young scientist talked about their bravery and love of motherland, as well. Furthermore, S.Nasirova mentioned that the exhibition “Karabakh is always mother to dreams” (“Anadir arzulara her zaman Qarabagh”), which is to be arranged at the Museum, will soon be open to the public. In addition, she also highlighted that the collected materials of martyrs would be exhibited in the permanent exposition in the future.
S.Nasirova’s speech aroused great interest among students.
The 6th International Symposium on “Historical Sites and Monuments” was held on 4–5 September 2026 in Basgal and Sulut, Ismayilli District, Azerbaijan. The symposium was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Fazil Osmanov, a distinguished Azerbaijani archaeologist and Doctor of Philosophy in History.
