“Development strategy of humanitarian sciences” Republican scientific conference has been organized by the Department of Researches in Science and Culture, Education operating in the self-development platform “GenjIlk” created for the youth.
Senior Research Associate of the Department of “Numismatics and Epigraphy” of the ANAS National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, PhD in History Aygun Mammadova delivered a speech with an article “Coin hoards of the 13th century found in Azerbaijan” at the conference. Referring to the latest archaeological findings, contemporary numismatic researches and methods, coins being preserved in the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan, young researcher A. Mammadova gave thorough information on characteristics of the coins concerning the period of the Shirvanshahs-Kasranids, the Seljuks, Chingizis, the Ilkhanids and other dynasties, their place of discovery and trade relations of the period.
In the end, all materials were gathered for publication and certificates were presented to the participants.
